BJP Completes Four Years Of Its Misrule In Goa – by Aires Rodrigues
Thursday - Mar 10, 2016
The BJP government in Goa which assumed power on 9th March 2012 completes four years. It has rightly not celebrated its fourth anniversary as it has nothing to cheer about. All those tall election promises made in 2012 have ended up like China made goods, with neither a guarantee nor warranty
Now Goa Needs To Be Saved From The BJP In 2017 Assembly Polls – by Aires Rodrigues
Wednesday - Mar 9, 2016
Kudos to Panjimites. Despite all the fixing and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar’s highhanded politricks, the BJP was not able to win polls to the Corporation of City of Panjim. Manohar Parrikar had personally monitored and manipulated that politically very tainted delimitation process and the reservations of wards too. He later personally campaigned in Panjim and from Delhi, but the people
Gutless Meddling Australian Citizen Who Blocks His Exposure – by Dattarai Kamat Ghanekar
Wednesday - Mar 9, 2016
I know that gutless meddling Australian citizen who after blocking me is talking about me like a spineless coward. I dare you to unblock me and make that statement. On the contrary you Salus Correia, have associated yourself with
Helicopter Joy Rides At Arossim Over A Star Hotel Is Definitely Illegal – by Stephen Dias, Dona Paula
Tuesday - Mar 8, 2016
Helicopter joy rides at Arossim over a Star Hotel is definitely illegal and must be stopped. Fr Conceicao de Silva has blessed this project and must be questioned why he did it without taking the villagers in confidence. I have questioned Fr. Conceicao in the next day at his cabin of Taleigao Church who is presently is a Parish Priest and told him that he was wrong. He could have suggested taking a Hindu and local Catholic priest instead of him going all the way from Taleigao.

Why he had to go there from Taleigao with the blessed water and was dropped back with the same car? That means Fr. Silva had some personal interest. He said there will not be any disturbance nor any sound pollution because the Helicopter takes off vertically and not run towards the village area at low level I have told him that once this activity starts than these rides will have no control and nothing will be able to do by the people of the village later, it is better to stop right now because there is no necessity for these rides

Why oh why is Goa and in particular the police seemingly hell- bent on putting more nails in the Goa tourism coffin? We like many older long term visitors have been coming to Goa for many years spending our hard earned savings in the local economy and also like many fed up to the back teeth of being treated like some form of vermin
Political Site At Cafe Bhonsle Panjim – by Stephen Dias, Dona Paula
Monday - Mar 7, 2016
Most of these great politicians, Ministers, leaders of social media, President and Executive members of Panjim Clubs, Doctors, Professors, Scientists, Engineers, Advocates, NRI Commissioner, including Editors, journalists, reporters and others well known figures etc prefers to assemble just outside the Cafe Bhonsle Panjim for gossiping and discussing political matters. This appears to be a
Student Activism In Goa Needs To Be Rekindled – by Aires Rodrigues
Monday - Mar 7, 2016
Student activism encompasses student involvement in issues dealing with economic, environmental, political and social change on and off the campus. Having been closely associated with the very vibrant student movements in Goa witnessed in the 70’s and 80’s, it is extremely anguishing and very disheartening that the student activism today is virtually non-existent in the State. In our days

Yesterday, 5th March 2016 at 3.00 PM in Panjim at TB Cunha Hall, I attended the meeting organized by Bharat Mukti Morcha to explain to the people what blunder the Archbishop of Goa Felipe Neri Ferrao has made in selling the beautiful Vanxim Island to one non-Christian Mahendra Gaunekar for very cheap
Further Evidence In Father Bismarque’s Case by Sudeep Dalvi
Sunday - Mar 6, 2016
"I know who killed Father Bismarque...." I was shouting while being dragged towards the custody van by Superintendent of Police Umesh Gaonkar and Deputy Superintendent of Police Mahesh Gaonkar at Mandovi Ferry on 21st of November. People tried a hundred tricks to get my mouth open, but I remained tight
In This Hour Of Desperate Need To Save Goa – by Carmen Miranda
Saturday - Mar 5, 2016
As they say...."There are more ways than one to skin a cat" There are also more ways than one to bulldoze Goa. Mining was one obvious way, and we have seen the devastation it caused. But when the government legalizes what is illegal, and with a stroke of a pen and the wave of a hand, simply neutralises existing laws
