PANJIM: Airport Authority of India (AAI) has applied to Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) for the renewal of consent to operate the Dabolim airport terminal. GSPCB chairman Jose Manuel Noronha said "Airport Authority of India has applied for renewal of consent to operate, which had expired in 2011." GSPCB had directed the airport director to apply for renewal of the consent to operate the existing terminal.

Aires Rodrigues before the Bombay High Court at Goa challenging the appointment of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s relative Mr. Kurupati Dwarkanath Row as Chairman of the Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC). PANJIM: Bowing to pressure from NGOs, the state government on Monday handed over the Vasco minor girl's rape case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The government issued the order according consent to the Delhi special police establishment under Section 6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act to exercise their powers all over Goa, chief secretary B Vijayan said.
