PONDA: The Colem police booked Rajan Chari, 42, a resident of Batar-Sancordem in Dharbandora taluka for allegedly attempting to murder his wife. Chari allegedly forced his wife Rajashri, 35, to drink poison on the afternoon of May 30. She was later admitted to the community health center at Valpoi and then referred to the Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital at Bambolim. She is still undergoing treatment.
