PANJIM: Goa Mining Peoples’ Front (GMPF) on Tuesday served an ultimatum to the government to restart the mining in state by December 15, threatening to intensify its agitation from December 19 if it failed to do so. VASCO: Secretary of Goa Barge Owners Association William D’Costa has called upon Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping Krishan Pal Gujjar to provide financial assistance to the barge industry in the state. VASCO: In a deadly clash between two groups, two youths were stabbed by a group of five youngsters at Mangor Hill in Vasco late Sunday evening. Two of the five assailants have been arrested.
