Politicians: The New Chameleons In Town – by Nixon Fernandes
Friday - Apr 7, 2017
The path of secularism that PM Modi talks about vanishes in thin air. Today BJP has the upper hand in many states of India as it has won many state elections and at some places where it could not win still managed to form a govt. like in Goa. The worst fears of the people are coming true, as it has started showing its communal colors. The mantra of BJP “SABKA SAATH SABKA VIKAS” is disappearing
Friday - Apr 7, 2017
Now the Fotkirro-Dordirro Sardessai is happily looking forward to 2031. This corrupt bunch of Politicians that stole the mandate of the Goemkars can butcher and rape Goa while spreading hatred, beef bans, lynching people and murdering Goemkarponn. On top of that they can generously heap Coal on the Goemkar's Soul. In the meantime, their tamasha and nautanki

Manohar Parrikar Is In Clear Contempt Of The Supreme Court – by Aires Rodrigues
Thursday - Apr 6, 2017
By making it public that on the liquor ban order he is waiting for the Supreme Court bench to change, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is in clear and rank contempt of the Supreme Court. That too, coming from the mouth of the Chief Minister of a State is even more damning. What does he
Brand Of Politics Creates A Brand Of Politicians – by Floriano Lobo
Wednesday - Apr 5, 2017
When Goa opened up the day's newspapers, today [4 April,2017], what becomes apparent is the brand of politics that we have in GOA and the brand of politicians it has created, with Viswajeet Rane all set to become a minister in the Goa BJP's cabinet, a staunch Congressman, having resigned as the Congress MLA for reasons that Congress could not form the government where he could be a minister. This clearly shows the mindset of this opportunist, that he is in politics to WIN and only WIN and be on the rulling side, Goa and its issues be damned. This also shows that the people of his constituency who are supporting this move of his are just lolipops in his hands with no brains to to think otherwise but go along with what their leader says and does. This also clearly shows that the bulk of the people of Valpoi Constituency are just sheep to be herded in this camp or that where the fodder is amply available, mainly for the master. In addition, we say that we are the world largest DEMOCRACY. Isn't this a cruel joke???
Widened Roads Are Good Unlike Dona Paula To Miramar – by Stephen Dias, Dona Paula
Tuesday - Apr 4, 2017
Vehicular traffic coming from Bambolim to Dona Paula, the roads have been widen and are so good and not like the one from Dona Paula to Miramar ( I called it jumping road) but still accidents are taking place. It is pity that many youngsters dies with no reason at their own but mainly due to the bad planning of dividers and their gaps/slots. I have brought this to the notice of PWD authorities

Set Back To Parrikar; Kudos To SC And Modi – by Stephen Dias, Dona Paula
Saturday - Apr 1, 2017
Wait for some time many setbacks will follow up. This one is nothing great; this verdict from SC was required for Goans. Too much alcohol in Goa. Casinos will have to suffer and this the only way to shut them out of River Mandovi...Who will be most unhappy man is the President of Goa Liqueur Association Datta Prasad Naik BJP from Taleigão who has number of outlets all over the Goa
Goa Government’s Silence Is Deafening – by Aires Rodrigues
Saturday - Apr 1, 2017
For all its inexplicable inaction, the Goa Government is squarely to be blamed for the predicament being faced by those thousands of bars and liquor stores across Goa on account of that liquor ban judgment by the Supreme Court. It was the bounden duty of the Goa Government to have infact intervened initially while the issue was under consideration of the Supreme Court
