MARGAO: Two more accused Shaukat Ahmed Sheik, 28 years, Nerul, Bardez and Mukesh Banshidar Srivastava alias Ramesh ( 32), a resident of Taleigao and a native of Bihar were arrested on Tuesday by the Margao police for their involvement in the rape of the 15- year old minor girl at Panjim, Porvorim and Margao till she was rescued from a Margao ice cream parlour.

PANJIM: Squarely blaming the Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar for stoppage of mining activities in the State – Goa Pradesh Congress Committee ( GPCC) Monday passed a resolution seeking financial package for the State to help come out of present economic crises.
Addressing a press conference acting GPCC President Subhash Shirodkar along with Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik, said Goa would not have been in this mess if Parrikar had not to put a stop to mining.
